One hundred and sixty-five prison guards have graduated from Buea School for Penitentiary Administration (ENAP) after 18 months of training.
A ceremony, which included a foot parade and the award of epaulets, took place at the school on 18 March 2016. The Secretary of State for prisons and the governor of the South West attended the graduation.
ENAP, a dilapidation facility outside Lower Farms Prison, is the country’s lone training school for warders and prison managers.
